The village of Korsakovo is located in the Perevozsky district. In accordance with the order of the Department for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated April 24, 2000, No. 5-OD, the village Kazan church was recognized as an object of historical and cultural heritage. This wooden, unheated church dates back to 1871. The main altar is dedicated to the Kazan Mother of God, while the side altars are dedicated to the right prophet Elijah and the left martyrs Flora and Lavra. However, order No. 5-OD was annulled on October 20, 2014, according to order No. 159, as reported by the State Department for the Protection of Cultural Heritage Objects of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
