In 1744, the first church was built in the village. In 1875, a fire destroyed the second church. In 1890, parishioners erected a wooden church with the blessing of Bishop Varsonofy of Simbirsk and Syzran. The construction used timber donated by landowners, as well as funds from parishioners, benefactors, and employees of Mr. Pashkov. In 1895, the church was consecrated by Archpriest Irakliy Zhemchuzhnikov. In 1900, the church received a new icon "It is Truly Meet" from the Holy Pantaleimon Monastery on Mount Athos.

In the 1930s, the church was closed for three years and used as a grain storage facility. Thanks to the efforts of the chairman of the collective farm, Matvey Maximovich Aydashkin, the building was preserved, being registered as the property of the collective farm. In 1997, an icon of Saint Nicholas miraculously oozed myrrh in the church for two months.

Currently, the church has two altars. The main altar is consecrated in honor of the Kazan Mother of God, and services are held here only in the summer. In winter, worship takes place in the right part of the narthex, where there is an altar consecrated in honor of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. There are also several icons painted on Athos and relics of the blessed Saint Andrew and the Venerable Fyodor Sanarsky.
