The brick church in the village of Kanuevka, built in the classical style between 1825 and 1829, is a tall single-domed structure with a small refectory and a bell tower topped with a spire. In the second half of the 19th century, side chapels were added to the church, expanding it. The church was closed in 1936, but it was returned to the faithful in the 1990s. The reconstruction of the church, dedicated to the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, was carried out from 2006 to 2009 based on the project by St. Petersburg architects T.V. Zhiburtovich and N.Yu. Medvedev.
