Izmailovo, a village in the Shatkovsky district, is home to a monument of urban planning and architecture, the Kazan Church. The object dates back to 1831. However, the "Address Calendar of the Nizhny Novgorod Diocese" from 1904 indicates an earlier date for the construction of the stone church in Izmailovo, 1830.
