The church in the village of Georgievsk was built in 1771 and had two altars: in honor of the Kazan Mother of God and Saint George the Great Martyr. This church was associated with the church of Saint Nicholas the Bishop and Wonderworker, founded in the same 1771 year thanks to the efforts of the landowner Epifan Stefanovich Skripitsyn. The parish included 17 settlements. The church at the Nikolsky burial site has not survived, while the Kazan church is in a severely dilapidated condition.
