The Kazan Church with its bell tower consists of two parts built at different times. The tall and elegant tent-like bell tower is erected above the Holy Gates of the monastery, while to the east, a small Kazan church adjoins it, traditionally oriented along the main axis. The bell tower is a fine example of Vladimir architecture from the 17th century. It features a slender octagonal pillar on a square base, topped with a two-tiered sawtooth design and divided by a modest belt into two tiers. The lower tier has arched openings, while the upper tier has a small window. The pilasters at the entrance are adorned with belts and paired strips, and the corners of the upper tier and pillar are marked by wrapping pilasters. At the base of the bell tier and on the faces, there are paired strips, and the arched openings with pedimented finishes are highlighted by belts. The tent is pierced by two rows of vents. The church is executed in the Russian style and belongs to the modest single-domed temples with a semicircular apse and a small refectory. The main volume of the church rises above the adjoining parts with the help of an attic tier. Three windows on the side facades are decorated with columns with entablature and wedge-shaped arches, which are embedded into the frieze of the entablature. The entablature separates the attic tier with a brick cross in the center and kokoshniks on the sides. The corners of the square are marked by pilasters with strips, and the windows of the apse and refectory are topped with triangular pediments. The western entrance from the lower tier of the bell tower is framed by a portal with melon-shaped decorations. A staircase to the bell tower is arranged in the northern part of the western wall. The square is covered by a transversely oriented vault, while the refectory has a cylindrical ceiling. Three arched openings lead to the apse, which is covered by a conch. Small fragments of 19th-century oil painting have survived. In the corners of the refectory, beside the arched opening into the square, there were originally stoves. The fence is designed as a solid monastery wall with elements of classicism. To the west, it slightly protrudes towards the river. The main approaches to the churches from the village, Vorobyovaya Pustyn, and the river are marked by gates and entrances. The wall is divided by a belt into two tiers: the lower tier alternates between short and long panels with applied boards, while the upper tier consists of a row of strips with slit windows. In the corners of the western side, there are blind decorative towers with rectangular volumes, topped with pedestals and small tents. Among the gates, the western ones, located at the southwest corner of the Annunciation Cathedral, are the most interesting. The pylon with a wide entrance arch is topped with three tall pedestals with semicircular pediments and finials. The central pedestal is decorated with a large niche for an icon.
