Фото 1
The church dedicated to the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, according to the church calendar of 1904, had three altars. The main altar was in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God and was cold. The right altar, dedicated to the holy righteous prince Alexander Nevsky, was warm, while the left was in honor of Saints Nicholas the Wonderworker and Great Martyr Catherine.

The church land comprised 36 desyatins. The priest did not have his own house, the deacon lived in a communal house, and the psalmist lived in his own. The parish included four villages with a population of 1,054 Orthodox men and 1,092 women.

From 1911, the priest of the Doskino church was Avrov Alexander Zifonovich, born in 1886. The deacon was Moskvin Evlampiy Matveevich, born in 1884, who had been in the parish since 1909. The psalmist was Putiatin Mikhail Alexandrovich, also born in 1884, who joined the parish in 1911.

In the case of the church's closure in the village of B. Doskino, it is noted that at general meetings of the residents of B. Doskino and the villages of Polyany and M. Doskino in March 1940, a decision was made to close the church and convert it into a club. This decision was approved on August 7, 1941, by the Gorky Executive Committee of the regional council. On July 31, 1945, the regional executive committee rejected the request of the residents of the Bogorodsky district to reopen the church, citing its dilapidated condition and the need for significant capital investments. After that, the collective farmers used the building as a grain storage facility.

The restoration of the church in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God began in the 21st century thanks to the efforts and financial support of the parishioners.

Not far from the church, a bathing facility was built at the spring, consecrated in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. Another bathing facility appeared nearby in honor of the New Martyrs of Russia, thanks to the rector of the church, Father Roman Chibirev, and the parishioners who donate for the restoration of the church.
