The church in honor of the Kazan Mother of God is a stone building with a separate bell tower and serves as a parish church. It has three chapels: the main one and two side ones. On the right is the chapel in honor of Archdeacon Stephen, on the left, in honor of St. Alexander of Svir, and above the refectory in the warm room, in honor of St. Nicholas of Myra. The church was built in 1807 with funds from the former landowner Stefan Andreevich Bornovolokov and is notable for its durability. In 1831, a wooden Epiphany church in the village of Koshulevo, located 6 versts away, was annexed to this church. It was built by parishioners in 1772 and closed in 1828.

The church owns 36 desyatinas of land, to which 15 desyatinas of forest and hayfields were added in 1887, and another 6 desyatinas in 1895, totaling 57 desyatinas. There are church houses for the priest and the psalmist. The church capital amounts to 2065 rubles and 50 kopecks in securities. The land at the Epiphany church consists of 33 desyatinas and 98 square fathoms and is rented out to peasants.

The parish has 285 men and 343 women. There is a church school operating in the village of Churilovo. The clergy consists of a priest and a psalmist, receiving a state salary of 392 rubles. The parish capital amounts to 2982 rubles and 50 kopecks in securities.
