The village of Brusnyatskoye is located 60 versts from Yekaterinburg, on the right bank of the Kamyanka River. The residents of the parish mainly engage in agriculture and are known for their prosperity. Their wealth is due to the fertile soil and the nearby asbestos and emerald mines, where many find additional income during their free time from agricultural work. Because of this, the significant crop failure of 1891-1892, which severely affected peasant households in other areas, passed here without serious consequences.

The Brusnyatsk parish was founded in 1763 with the blessing of Paul, the Metropolitan of Tobolsk and Siberia, when 7 villages with a population of 617 men and 639 women were separated from the Beloyarsk parish. In 1803, four of these villages formed the Gryaznukhinsky parish.

Before the church was built, the village was called the village of Brusnitsyna, then the Troitskaya sloboda until 1830 and the Troitskoye village until 1870. From this time, by the order of the Perm diocesan authorities, it began to be called the Troitsko-Brusnyatskoye village.

The first parish church was wooden and single-altar, dedicated to the Holy Life-Giving Trinity. It was built on donations from parishioners, laid in 1764, and consecrated in 1765. In 1807, the church was renovated and re-consecrated after a fire when the altar and the sacrificial table were carried out. Due to its dilapidation, a stone church with a warm chapel in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God was laid in 1855, completed in 1859. The chapel was consecrated in 1859, and the main church in 1867.

Over time, the church became cramped for parishioners, and in 1880 it was decided to dismantle the Kazan-Bogoroditsky chapel and build two new ones. However, due to disagreements among the parishioners, this decision was implemented only 12 years later. In 1893, permission for construction was obtained, in 1894 the laying began, and in 1898 the right chapel was consecrated.

The church particularly honors the icons of the Kazan Mother of God, Saint Righteous Simeon of Verkhoturye, and Saint Great Martyr Panteleimon. In the village of Izmodenovo, there is a wooden chapel in the name of the prophet Elijah and a church-parish school opened in 1895. There is a house for the priest, granaries, and shops that bring income.

In 1912, the expansion of the central Holy Trinity chapel began, but it could not be completed due to the Bolshevik revolution and the civil war. In the 1930s, the church was looted, icons were burned, and the building was used as a grain storage and garage.

Today, the parish in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos in the village of Brusnyatskoye is being revived. The Kazan church now includes Orthodox communities from the villages of Izmodenovo, Shipelovo, and Nekrasovo, and active restoration of the church is underway.
