The village of Balinskoye is located 135 versts southeast of Yekaterinburg, by a small lake called Balino. The area is marshy, and the water in the ponds is polluted, creating unfavorable health conditions. The soil consists of shallow black soil, sandy loam, and solonchaks. Historical information about the origin and fate of the village of Balinskoye has not been preserved. The name of the village is explained in different ways: some believe it is related to its location by Lake Balino, while others think it comes from the surname of the first settlers, Balinykh.

Before the establishment of an independent Balinskoye parish, the village of Balino was part of the parish of the Petropavlovskaya sloboda and church. In the 1840s, due to the distance from the Petropavlovsk church, the villagers decided to build their own temple and form a separate parish. Funds for the construction of the church were raised through voluntary donations.

In 1849, with the blessing of Archbishop Arkadiy of Perm, a stone church was laid in the village of Balino in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, which was consecrated in 1852. The church has one altar. In 1888 and 1889, it was expanded with an annex on the northern side due to insufficient capacity. There are no special attractions in the church.

The church is accompanied by two stone outbuildings: one for storing old church items, the other for a burial vault, as well as a semi-stone house for the priest with extensions, a wooden hut for prosphora, and a barn for storing church bread.

In addition to the village itself, the Balinskoye parish includes two villages: Bolshoy Kasargul, 7 versts away, and Komarovka, 4 versts away. The parish has 2,474 Orthodox parishioners of both genders, with no schismatics or sectarians. The main occupation of the residents is agriculture.

Besides the church, the Balinskoye parish has a wooden chapel in honor of Saints Cosmas and Damian in the village of Kasargul, where a stone church is also being built in their honor, which has not yet been consecrated. There is a zemstvo school operating in the village of Balinskoye.
