In the village of Mikhailovsk, the Kazan Church was originally built with two altars: the main one in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God and a side altar in honor of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker. According to the address calendar of the Nizhny Novgorod diocese for 1888, the Kazan Church was wooden, with one altar, and was built in 1795. A stone Nicholas temple is also mentioned separately. Currently, both churches are completely destroyed.
