The first wooden church dedicated to the Kazan saints Guriy, German, and Varsanofiy was built in the first half of the 18th century. The stone temple in their honor appeared only by 1825.

In 1845, a side chapel was added to the stone church, consecrated in honor of the holy great martyr Paraskeva. Thus, the temple became divided into winter and summer parts. The summer part contains a five-tiered iconostasis with ancient paintings, while the winter chapel has a two-tiered one.

According to data from 1912, the church lands, along with the burial ground, occupied 3150 square fathoms.

In Stolbishche, there was also a wooden church dedicated to Paraskeva, known as Friday. By the time the stone church of the Kazan saints was built, the church of the holy great martyr already existed, although the exact date of its construction is unknown.

In the village of Usady, there was a wooden chapel dedicated to the holy martyrs Flora and Lavra, covered with iron and surrounded by a wooden fence.

In 1770, Stolbishche had 236 able-bodied male peasants. In the early 18th century, the first church in honor of Saint Guriy, the first Archbishop of Kazan, was built with funds from the archiepiscopal house.

Over the centuries, the small settlement transformed into a large village with 17 streets and more than five thousand residents. The central street is Soviet, along which shops, a post office, and neat village houses are located. This street is considered the foundation of Stolbishche.

During the Soviet era, local residents dismantled the church for bricks, leading to the partial destruction of one of the chapels, the bell tower, and the dome vaults of the central part. A water tower was installed on the site of the altar of the main chapel, resulting in the destruction of the altar's brickwork. Almost all the architecture of the church was lost.

The church was used as a grain storage facility, a collective farm warehouse, and shops selling wine and industrial goods. One of the altars was converted into a banquet hall, where worship services were replaced by drunken festivities.

Since 1999, the church has been undergoing restoration under the guidance of the rector Fyodor Sapаров. It is now active, hosting Sunday services, major feasts, and celebrations in honor of revered saints.

A revered relic of the church is a particle of the relics of Saint Luke, the Voino-Yasenetsky.
