The Church of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God, located in the Znamensky Sukhotinsky Convent, is a three-altar church in eclectic style. Initially, it was planned to create chapels in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and St. Mitrophan of Voronezh. However, one of them was never furnished with an altar and instead housed the sacristy. In the other chapel, an altar was established in honor of the Three Hierarchs: St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, St. Mitrophan of Voronezh, and St. Tikhon of Zadonsk. This brick church features four pillars and five domes. In the 1920s, the church was closed and repurposed first as a warehouse and then as a vegetable storage facility, during which the small domes were destroyed. In the 1990s, the church was returned to the faithful and restored.

Regular services began to be held in the church on October 26, 1999. In 2000, the first episcopal service took place on the feast day of the Iveron Icon of the Mother of God. In 2002, after his appointment to the Tambov diocese, Bishop Theodosius blessed the revival of the Sukhotinsky Mother of God-Znamenensky Convent. In 2003, five crosses were consecrated on the church's domes, the domes were rebuilt and covered, and heating was installed.
