On September 22, 2018, the bells of the church of St. Martyr John Warrior in Sady Pridonya were consecrated. The consecration was conducted by Bishop Theoktist of Gorodishchensky, vicar of the Volgograd Diocese. A total of eighteen bells were installed: twelve from the main set, the largest weighing 820 kilograms, and six on the upper tier of the chimes, including a clock bell weighing 375 kilograms. The belfry is equipped with an "electronic bell ringer" system that allows for programming melodies, but manual control is also possible.

On May 18, 2019, the Great Consecration of the church took place, conducted by Metropolitan Theodor of Volgograd and Kamyshin.

The creation of the parish began in 1995, and services were held in a specially designated building. Later, with funds from the company "Sady Pridonya," a brick church was built in an eclectic style. It is a five-domed structure with symmetrical altar and side porches, a refectory, and a bell tower above the western porch. The walls of the church are painted in the Palekh style, and the iconostasis is crafted by Palekh masters. Services in the new church began in 2010.
