The Church of the Beheading of John the Baptist in Vyazovoe was built in 1867 with funds from parishioners and initially belonged to the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Chikarevka. The architectural ensemble of the temple includes a square base with a metal roof on four slopes, adorned with a traditional five-domed structure. The main building is adjoined by an altar apse, a small refectory, and a two-tiered bell tower. A one-class zemstvo school and church parish guardianship operated at the church. In the 1930s, the temple was closed, but in the post-war years, services resumed and have not been interrupted since. Today, the Church in honor of John the Baptist continues to operate.
