The chief architect of Dzerzhinsk, S. I. Chernyuk, developed the initial design proposals for the future baptismal church with a baptistery. Under his guidance, the working project for the foundation of the John the Baptist church was completed, with the first stone laid on October 25, 1994. Currently, the sacraments of Baptism and Marriage are conducted here, as well as water blessing services.
