The village of Lesnaya Neyelovka was previously called Nagornaya Neyelovka, as historical data indicates. In this village, a church was built in 1784, consecrated in honor of the Holy and Life-Giving Trinity. During the Soviet years, the building of the Holy Trinity Church was completely destroyed.

In 1996, Anatoly Grigoryevich Romanov, the head of the Bazarno-Karabulak RSU, at the request of the villagers, appealed to the Saratov Diocese to open an Orthodox parish and obtain a blessing for the construction of a new church. Construction began on June 6, 1996, and was funded by donations from parishioners. In 2011, the church was completed.

On November 12, 2011, His Eminence Longin, the Metropolitan of Saratov and Volsk, performed the Rite of Great Consecration of the church and conducted the first Divine Liturgy in the newly built building.
