The brick church, built in 1706, but its facade decor indicates that it was reconstructed in the late 18th century. This structure represents an octagon on a square base with a two-altar refectory, which housed the Elevation of the Holy Cross altar, moved in 1883 to a new annex, and the Simeon altar, as well as a tent-shaped bell tower. In the early 1930s, the church was closed and underwent major reconstruction. For a long time, the building served as a fire station, and now it houses a recreation center.
