In 1879, the church was rebuilt: the refectory was expanded, where chapels of the Entry into the Temple of the Mother of God and Saint Dimitri of Rostov were arranged, and the bell tower was also renovated. The church retains a 19th-century iconostasis.

On the church grounds, the rector, Archpriest I. Mantrov, is buried. He was involved in restoring the church after a tornado in the early 1950s, which destroyed the domes of many churches in the Yaroslavl region, and in Ilyinskoye, it tore off the domes from the bell tower and the church itself.
