The church was built in 1731 with funds from parishioners on the site of a lost wooden church. In the early 19th century, it underwent reconstruction.
This stone building has one dome and a tiered bell tower. In the 19th century, the church was painted. It has three altars: in honor of the Prophet Elijah, Saint Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra in Lycia, the miracle worker, and the holy righteous princes Boris and Gleb.
The church remains active and has never been closed. Services are held here on Sundays and on holidays.
