In the village of Ilyinskoye, there are two churches: the Church of the All-Merciful Savior and the Church of Saint Prophet Elijah. The first was built in 1808 by landowner Elizabeth Afanasyevna Nelidova. This church has two warm chapels: in honor of the Smolensk Mother of God and Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker. The second church was erected in 1809 with the support of parishioners, also under the guidance of Nelidova. It also has two chapels: in honor of Saint Righteous Elizabeth and Saint Martyr Paraskeva.

Both churches are made of stone, sturdy and summer, except for the two warm chapels. The churches own 84 dessiatinas and 154 sazhen of land. A church house is provided for the priest. The church capital amounts to 2852 rubles and 50 kopecks. In the village of Ilyinskoye, there are 79 men and 96 women. In the villages located at varying distances from the church, there are also parishioners: in Azarina 11 men and 11 women, in Bagryaniki 24 men and 7 women, in Kropukhino 30 men and 54 women, and so on. The parish has a church school and parish charity. The staff includes positions for a priest and a psalmist. The parish capital amounts to 6156 rubles.
