The winter stone church was built in 1801 with funds from the parishioners and the church itself. It was consecrated in honor of the prophet Elijah. After the church was closed, its altar was moved to the neighboring Church of the Resurrection of Christ. Currently, the church is not operational, and a store is located in its building.
