The Ilyinskaya Church is a sturdy stone building. It has three altars: the main, cold one is dedicated to the prophet Elijah, while the warm refectory contains two chapels, on the southern side in honor of Saint Nicholas of Myra the Miracle Worker and on the northern side in honor of Saint Tikhon of Amathus the Miracle Worker. The church was built in 1762 with funds from the former landowner, Captain Ivan Grigoryevich Bedarev. In the church porch, there is a charitable library, founded on June 11, 1884, with 1000 rubles allocated from the capital of Archbishop Ioannikiy. In the village of Grishino, there is a wooden chapel. The church's land holdings amount to 35 desyatins and 40 square fathoms, divided into four plots. The church buildings include a two-story residence for the clergy and a house for the caretaker. The church capital is 1685 rubles and 15 kopecks. There are 466 male and 574 female parishioners. The village is located on a plain, with a stream running through it, and nearby flows the Per'ya River. Next to the church is the Ioannikievskaya Bedarevskaya parish school, founded on March 5, 1878, with funds from Archbishop Ioannikiy of Kherson and Odessa. The school is wooden, on a stone foundation, covered with iron, and is financed from capital also designated for student pensions. The clergy consists of a priest and a psalmist, with the parish capital in securities amounting to 7354 rubles.
