The village of Zamarayevskoye in the Shadrinsk district is located northwest of the diocesan city, 184 versts away and 29 versts from the district center, on the left bank of the Iset River. The exact time of its founding is unknown, but it likely emerged in the late 17th or early 18th century. Until 1725, the village was part of the parish of the village of Sukhrinskoye, after which it became an independent parish.

The first church in Zamarayevskoye was wooden and had two altars; its construction began in 1725. In 1726, both altars were consecrated: the main one in honor of the Sign of the Mother of God and the side altar in honor of the Venerable Zosima and Savvatiy, the Solovetsky Miracle Workers. The church stood until June 10, 1799, when it was struck by lightning and burned down. That same year, construction of a new church began on the same site, dedicated to the same saints. The exact date of the consecration of the main altar is unknown, but the side altar was consecrated in 1802. In 1842, due to its dilapidated state, the church was dismantled, and a stone monument was erected in place of the main altar. A new stone church was laid in 1836.

Six years later, the construction was completed, and the warm side altar in honor of the Solovetsky Miracle Workers was consecrated, while the main church was completed in 1852 and consecrated in 1854 by Bishop Jonah of Yekaterinburg, as the parishioners were very eager for the consecration to take place with an archpastoral service. The church was built with the funds of the parishioners, and a significant contribution to its construction was made by the local priest N. Oranskiy. He decided to change the design so that the church would stand out for its beauty, which led to a legal dispute initiated by the architect. However, the intervention of Archbishop Arkadiy helped resolve the matter in favor of the priest.

The interior decoration of the church is adorned with wall paintings, and the iconostasis of the main church is distinguished by its originality and is decorated with gilded carvings. It consists of one tier, and on the sides, it is supported by a carved arch with a cross and an inscription: 'We bow to Your Cross, O Master.' In 1865, a stone fence with iron grilles was built around the church, and two stone wings were erected at the corners of the western side for storing church property.

The church has retained its original appearance, except for minor repairs. The parish has a wooden chapel in the village of Podkorytovaya, dedicated to Saint Catherine the Great Martyr, built in 1729. The church owns four wooden houses for accommodating the clergy and prosphora. There is also a literacy school operating in the village of Podkorytovaya.
