The building was erected in 1782 with funds from the parishioners. In 1840, an altar dedicated to the Theodorovskaya Icon of the Mother of God was added to it. The church is made of stone, has one dome and a tiered bell tower, which have been lost over time. It has three altars: in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God 'Sign', Saint Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra in Lycia, the Miracle Worker, and the Theodorovskaya Icon of the Mother of God. The Theodorovskaya Icon of the Mother of God was held in special reverence.
