The church is located in an adapted space. Among the relics is an icon with a particle of the relics of Saint Martyr Constantine of Bogorodsk.

The village of Ozyorki appeared in the second half of the 18th century on the postal route between Saratov and Petrovsk. The first residents were state peasants from the Penza and Tambov provinces. The name of the village appears in various forms: Bolshie Ozyorki, Nikolskoye, and Pyrkino. In 1826, thanks to the efforts of the parishioners, a warm stone church with a bell tower, cast-iron fence, and altar in honor of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker was built in Ozyorki. Houses for two priests and a psalmist were erected near the church. In 1846, the first three-grade school opened, taught by a local priest, as well as a church parish school at the Nikolsky church.

During the Soviet era, the church building was destroyed.

In 2007, the revival of the Orthodox community began in the village of Ozyorki. In 2008, a Cross of Veneration was erected at the site of the destroyed church. In 2009, the village administration transferred the building of the former church parish school to the parish for the establishment of a church in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God 'Sign'. In 2010-2011, parishioners carried out the necessary reconstruction and repairs of the building. In 2011, with the blessing of Bishop Longin of Saratov and Volsk, services began in the new church.
