Between 1867 and 1873, a stone building, a refectory, and a spacious room for the sisters were constructed, which housed a chapel in honor of the Most Holy Theotokos of the Life-Giving Spring. In 1882, the construction of the abbot's and hospital buildings began, representing a large three-story structure. In the eastern part of this building, a temple was arranged, which had a close connection with the building. Its purpose was for the elderly and sick, who were unable to move, to hear the services from their rooms located near the temple. The temple was two-tiered: the lower tier was on the first floor level, while the upper tier was on the second and third floors. The lower church, consecrated in honor of Seraphim of Sarov, was intended for the burial of the benefactors of the monastery, while the upper church, consecrated in honor of Sergius of Radonezh, was used for daily services.
