Bogatilovka, a village in the Sechenovsky district, was originally called Mituralikha in honor of a Dutchman who was involved in timber harvesting during Peter I's reign. The modern name is associated with the prosperity of local peasants. According to the 'State Lists of Historical and Cultural Monuments of the Nizhny Novgorod Region', the village houses a monument of urban planning and architecture, the church of the Icon of the Mother of God Troeruchitsa, dated 1900. The document for state protection has the number 471. This wooden three-altar church is affiliated with the Alexander Nevsky Church in Verkhny Talizyn. The main altar is dedicated to the miraculous icon of the Mother of God 'Troeruchitsa', the right chapel to Saint Theodosius, the Chernigov miracle worker, and the left to the Nativity of Christ.

There is a legend about the construction of this church: seven brothers lived in Bogatilovka, and one of them heard the cherubic singing when he passed the place where the church now stands. Upon learning this, landowner Maria Alexeyevna Pashkova decided to build a church here. During the Soviet era, the church was not closed, and parishioners went to Moscow to M.I. Kalinin to protect it. However, a bell weighing 100 poods was thrown down, although the bell tower remained intact. During the Great Patriotic War, the church was inactive for three years while the priest was at the front, but then services resumed. One of the church bells was brought from the neighboring Mamleyka, where a similar church was destroyed to the ground.
