The church dedicated to the icon of the Mother of God 'Quick to Hear' is located in the Moscow district of Nizhny Novgorod. The parish belongs to the Moscow deanery of the Nizhny Novgorod diocese, which is part of the Nizhny Novgorod metropolis of the Russian Orthodox Church.
The parish was established in 2004. On December 19, 2005, on the feast day of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, the first Divine Liturgy was held in a temporary church-car. At this time, project documentation was also being prepared for the construction of a new church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God 'Quick to Hear'.
On June 16, 2006, a wooden cross was erected at the site of the future church, and a prayer service was conducted to mark the beginning of construction work. The construction continued until November 2009.
On November 22, 2009, on the feast day of the church, the first Divine Liturgy was held in the newly built church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God 'Quick to Hear'.
