On September 21, 2004, on the day of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, a prayer service was held at the site of the future church and a cornerstone cross was installed. Initially, it was planned to build a chapel, but thanks to the efforts of benefactor Alexander Petelin, a small church was constructed. The first service took place on Easter in 2008. In 2009, Father Alexander Solovyov became the rector of the church. Services became regular, and a parish began to form. On August 31, 2010, the church was consecrated by Bishop Joseph from the Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Kineshma Diocese in honor of the icon of the Mother of God 'Increase of Mind.' There were plans to build a spiritual and educational center at the church, but the economic crisis hindered the realization of these plans. Due to the lack of infrastructure, classes for the children's Sunday school, opened in September 2011, are held in the church building, which also houses an Orthodox library with 1,000 publications. A social service worker and a youth worker were hired for the church. Since February 17, 2011, an Orthodox discussion club 'Bright Cinema' has been operating at the church.
