The old church in the village was destroyed after the establishment of Soviet power. In 2008, a new wooden church was built near the 'Astrakhan-Volgograd' highway. Its construction was financed by donations from local residents and entrepreneurs. Logs delivered from the Vladimir region were used to erect the building.
