The parish of the church in honor of the icon 'Unexpected Joy' was officially registered on October 3, 2000, when the corresponding certificate was issued. On September 27, 2004, a cross was installed on the territory, and on March 29, 2005, a plot of land measuring 0.1 hectares was leased for the construction of the church, where a trailer was initially placed.

In May 2007, the foundation of the church with an area of 60 m² was laid. In July 2008, the walls and roof frame were erected. By February 2009, the roofing was completed, and domes and crosses were installed. From June to August 2009, plastering and painting work was carried out, and the floor was leveled. In October, tiles were laid, and heating was connected from the Burevestnik village boiler house.

In 2011, the finishing work on the ceiling inside the temple was completed, along with the installation of the iconostasis, central gates, side doors, and the arrangement of the altar. Further plans include the construction of a refectory and a bell tower.
