The Herman-Mitrophan Church was built in the late 18th century next to the brotherhood building of the Assumption Monastery and was consecrated in December 1799 in honor of the saints Herman of Kazan and Mitrophan of Voronezh. In the 19th century, the church underwent reconstruction twice. In the middle of the same century, its walls were painted, and a new three-tiered iconostasis was installed with the funds of Mrs. Savrasova. In the early 20th century, the church was again renovated thanks to the efforts of the same benefactor. The relics of Saint Herman of Kazan are kept in the church. However, in the early 20th century, the church was dismantled, and two grand entrances of the brotherhood building were also destroyed.
