Фото 1
On April 24, 1735, the construction of the warm stone church of St. George began, with an altar in honor of the holy princes Boris and Gleb. This took place with the blessing of Archbishop Sergey of Veliky Ustyug and Totma. The construction was completed in 1738, and on November 19 of the same year, the St. George altar was consecrated. The altar in honor of Boris and Gleb was consecrated on October 25, 1743. Special attention is drawn to the ancient carved wooden cross with gilded carvings and a painted crucifix, which was used in processions. At its ends and in the center on both sides, there are nine plaques with Greek inscriptions. In 1757-1758, a bell tower was built next to the St. George churches, which was dismantled in 1930. All constructions were funded by parishioners and church collections.
