Church of St. George the Victorious in Logachevka

The village of Logachevka was named after the settler Matvey Logachev. It was founded in 1833 by retired soldiers and state peasants who moved from the Kursk province. Matvey Logachev acted as an intermediary with the authorities, advocating for the resettlement of peasants and the provision of land, which is how the new settlement got its name.

Unfortunately, the historic church was destroyed in the 1930s, and a club was built in its place.

A new church was laid in the center of the village in 1994, which restored historical justice. Although it is not on the original site, it was consecrated in honor of St. George the Victorious on the same day as 155 years ago. The church was built thanks to the efforts of all the residents of Logachevka.
