In 1858, a wooden church was built in the village in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. It was rebuilt twice: in 1900 and 1911, and after the last expansion, it could accommodate up to 1500 parishioners.
According to archival data as of January 1, 1932, the church in Georgievka was listed as an active place of worship. In the late 1930s, it was dismantled, and the logs were used to build a school. A small part of the foundation remains at the site of the church.
In May 1997, Archbishop Sergey of Samara and Syzran blessed the opening of a parish in honor of Saint George the Great Martyr in the village of Georgievka. The village administration transferred a small shop building, constructed in the 1960s, to the parish for use as a prayer house. This building was located not far from the destroyed Kazan church.
On May 6, 2008, with the blessing of Archbishop Sergey, a site for the construction of a new church was consecrated. On October 9, 2010, the consecration and installation of the dome with a cross on the new church took place.
In 2012, four consecrated bells were installed in the bell tower, cast at the "Pyatkov and Co" enterprise in Kamensk-Uralsky specifically for the church in honor of Saint George the Great Martyr. The largest bell, "Blagovestnik," weighs 3300 kg and is one of the largest in the region. The "Small Blagovestnik" weighs 700 kg, while the other two bells weigh 300 kg and 164 kg. Bells from the small bell tower were also transferred, bringing the total to 10 bells in the new bell tower.
To date, the main construction work is completed, and the walls of the Church of Saint George the Victorious are being painted. The artists use a special technique, transferring images created by Andrei Rublev and his follower Dionysius: the same faces of saints and themes, but the figures are flat rather than three-dimensional. The shades differ from ancient Russian icons.
The most challenging part of the painting was the depiction of the Savior under the dome of the church. The image, with a diameter of 4 meters, was painted at a height of 17 meters, and the work took several months. Icon painter Evgeny Sorokin and his team returned to this face multiple times to ensure that the central image of the entire painting was monumental. The dome painting is completed, and the altar is fully finished. The central icon of the Trinity is made in the form of a colored stained glass window on glass and faces east. During the morning service, rays of the rising sun will penetrate through it, encouraging parishioners to pray.
