The church was built in 1814 through the efforts of the parishioners. It was wooden, with a bell tower and fence of the same material. The church had one altar, consecrated in honor of St. George the Great Martyr. The church did not have its own utensils, and items from the Dmitrievskaya church were used for services. Services were held on the church holiday and for memorial liturgies in the summer.
The Georgievskaya church was closed by the decision of the Ivanovo Regional Executive Committee on March 3, 1935, and was subsequently dismantled to the ground.
