Originally, a wooden church was built, which was consecrated on February 1, 2005. The ceremony was conducted by His Grace Georgy, Bishop of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas. The church is dedicated to the holy martyrs Flora and Lavra in memory of the Kiev Flora Monastery, where the Venerable Alexandra, the founder of the Diveyevo convent, spent her early years of monastic life.
