Фото 1
In 1871, a stone church with a bell tower was built in the village of Savrusha at the expense of landowner Pyotr Fyodorovich Durasov. The building occupied an area of 286 square fathoms and could accommodate up to 400 parishioners. The church was surrounded by a stone fence and had two altars. The first was consecrated in 1871 in honor of Saint Theodore Trichinas, and the second, in 1883 in honor of Archangel Michael. The church staff included a priest and a psalmist.

The church had 33 desyatinas of arable and haymaking land, as well as 200 square fathoms of homestead land. The parish covered the villages of Salovka and Nikolaevka.

As of January 1, 1931, the church was still in operation.
