Among the owners of the village were the illustrious Prince P.I. Liven, Privy Councillor V.Yu. Soymonov, Princess Sh.K. Liven, Lieutenant Colonel of the Life Guards Rifle Battalion Prince P.I. Liven, Collegiate Secretary Yanchevsky, and M.I. Galina. In 1881, the forest near the village belonged to the merchant-schismatic and millionaire Goryushin.
The Church of Theodore Stratilates is a monument of urban planning and architecture. This stone temple, built in honor of the Great Martyr Theodore Stratilates, was erected in 1902. The status of a monument was confirmed by the order dated April 24, 2000, No. 5-OD.
In Lichadeevo, the main house of the estate, where the writer Boris Sadovsky lived, has been preserved. It is located behind the school building on Shkolnaya Street, house 33a, and dates back to 1885-1892. The status of a monument was confirmed by the order dated August 21, 2001, No. 21-OD. Fragments of the ancient estate park are included in the list of twenty specially protected natural territories of the Ardatov municipal district.
