The wooden church, clad in planks, was built in 1747. It was a square structure topped with two diminishing octagons, featuring a refectory and a tent-shaped bell tower. The church housed the Kazan and Nikolsky chapels. In 1935, it was closed and converted into a club, and in 1939 it burned down. A memorial cross has been erected at the site of the former church, and there are plans to build a new wooden multi-domed church in an eclectic style.
