The wooden church was built by the parishioners in 1890. It has two altars: the main, cold one, dedicated to St. Great Martyr Demetrius of Thessalonica, and in the warm chapel, to the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God. The church land includes 2220 square fathoms of homestead, 30 desyatinas of arable land, and 3 desyatinas of haymaking land. The church's capital amounts to 2404 rubles and 62 kopecks. There are two priests, a deacon, and two psalmists serving in the parish, each of whom has their own house built on church land. The parish has two schools: a zemstvo school and a parish school, the latter was opened in 1884 and is located in its own building.
