The five-domed church with a bell tower was built in 1806 thanks to the efforts of the parishioners. The church has two altars: the Epiphany of the Lord and Archangel Michael. Previously, there was a wooden church on this site, which burned down, but the exact date of this event is unknown.

The church has neither miraculous and particularly revered icons, nor documents about its foundation, nor ancient utensils or similar items.

Processions in the parish are held on April 23, July 1, and July 13.

The church has 51 desyatinas of land, and the parish includes three villages.

According to tradition, the village of Novotroitsk was rebuilt on the site of the completely burned down old village. At the end of the last century, it was under the administration of the Trinity Lavra, as monastery fields and a cattle yard were located here.
