The wooden church was built in 2008 on the site where the state farm's garages used to be. The construction was mainly made possible by the help of donors and the efforts of parishioners. Apparently, there were no religious buildings in the village before this. Since 2012, a Sunday school has been operating at the church, with classes held in the church house on the temple grounds.
