The stone church of the Bogolyubskaya Icon of the Mother of God is located in Pushnino, not in Shuvalikha, as mistakenly indicated in the book "Monuments of History and Culture of the Vladimir Region." In 1859 and in the early 1890s, Pushnino and Shuvalikha were mentioned as villages in the description of populated areas of the Vladimir province. They were located in the Sudogodsky district, between the rural road from Vladimir to Ryazan and the border of the Vladimir district.

The Church of the Bogolyubskaya Icon of the Mother of God was built in the late 19th century. The upper windows of the temple are adorned with beautiful terracotta columns. According to local residents, a wooden refectory and a wooden bell tower were adjacent to the church, which were likely built before the stone church.
