The Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built in 1878 by merchant of the first guild Stepan Petrovich Solin and consecrated in 1879. The church had three altars consecrated: the main one in honor of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, as well as in honor of Archangel Michael and Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker. In a petition sent by the merchant to the Bishop of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas in 1879, he expressed regret over the departure of some people from Orthodoxy and a desire to prevent this by building a church in the village. With the bishop's permission, ancient icons were transferred from the Makaryev Zheltovodsky Monastery to the church. In 1937, the church was closed and desecrated, but services resumed in 1988.

In 1994, the first Sunday school in the Dzerzhinsk deanery opened at the church, and in 2003, a youth group called 'Vityazi' was organized for teenagers. Since June 2010, the church has been open for visits during the day, regardless of whether services are being held.

On November 27, 2010, Archbishop Georgy consecrated the right altar in honor of Nicholas the Wonderworker. Since May 5, 2010, the rector of the church has been Priest Mikhail Storonkin, who previously held this position was Archpriest Nikolai Natarov. On November 27, 2010, Archbishop Georgy, along with the dean and the rector, consecrated the altar in honor of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker.
