This place is home to two churches: one dedicated to the Kazan Blessed Virgin Mary, and the other, a single-domed church, was built in 1831 in honor of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Basil the Great.

These churches do not have any miraculous or particularly revered icons, nor ancient vestments or old printed books. Only the temple construction charters for the stone churches have survived: one is dated 1786, and the other, 1825.

Among the ancient utensils, there are a chalice, a diskos, two spoons, two plates, and two boxes. All these items are made of tin, but their origin is unknown. Additionally, from an inscription on one of the gospels, which was reprinted and is kept in the Karash church, it follows that the village of Karash had another name, Svyatoslavl. On June 15, 1710, in memory of the holy prophet Amos and St. Jonah, the miracle worker, metropolitan of Moscow, this holy gospel was placed and brought to the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and to the chapel of St. Basil the Great in the village of Karash, also known as Svyatoslavl, through the diligence and efforts of the donor from the village of Karash, the appointed man Dmitry Vasilyev, with priests Peter Zakhariev and Fyodor Antipin, as well as deacon Peter Gavrilov.
