Gorinskoe, one of the most remote villages in the Breytovsky district, is located almost on the border with the Tver region and is part of the Prozorovsky rural settlement. The Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in this village was built between 1913 and 1917. No one can remember if services were held there. With the onset of persecution against Orthodoxy, the church was closed, and during Soviet times, the building was used as a grain storage facility.
