The village of Fyodorovka is administratively part of the city of Tolyatti. The Church of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos was built in 1846 by the wealthy landowner N.F. Bakhmetev in memory of his young wife Varvara, who died in childbirth. Initially, the church was named Varvarinskaya. In the mid-1930s, the church was closed, but in 1989 it was returned to the church and consecrated in honor of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos. In the 1990s, a majestic Protection Cathedral was built next to the Annunciation Church, which was consecrated in 1999. Despite the fact that one church is over 150 years older than the other, the architectural ensemble looks very harmonious.
