According to the order of the Department for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated April 24, 2000, No. 5-OD, the rural Annunciation Church was recognized as an object of historical and cultural heritage. The church dates back to 1856. However, according to the information from the State Heritage Protection Office of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, this order lost its validity on October 20, 2014, in accordance with order No. 159. The church is a large five-domed structure with a semicircular altar, a refectory with a southern Kazan chapel, and a bell tower. In the 2000s, the building was returned to the believers, and since 2005, restoration work has been underway.
